Taste of Justice
A short documentary film by Daniel Contaldo
In off the radar parts of Italy, there exist summer volunteer camps among the lands confiscated from the mafia. These camps empower the youth who attend them, as well as the workers who live there all year round and have to face the difficult heritage of their converted properties. These camps are organized by Libera, an Italian non-profit that aims to coordinate the fight against organized crime. The film shows the many faces of the volunteer camps in these confiscated properties, in three completely different parts of Italy.
